Once your financial plan has been established it is important to have a system in place to ensure that it is regularly reviewed and able to evolve as your personal requirements dictate and market conditions change. In particular, the mix of assets, which we will have structured to optimise the chances of achieving your objectives, will become distorted over time as the different asset classes grow at different rates. We therefore ask you to commit to an ongoing service, and to the costs associated with that.

Where we have put new investment or pension contracts in place for you, and occasionally where we have taken over the management of your existing plans, we will receive an ongoing income from the scheme providers to pay for this long term service. In most cases this will be sufficient to cover our costs, but where it is not we will ask you to complete a monthly standing order to cover the balance.

We offer four levels of service, and you can select the one which you feel is most appropriate to your requirements.

Total Asset Management Service

This is the most comprehensive service we offer, and is generally selected by clients who have investments (including cash) of circa £500,000 or more.

Portfolio Management Service

This service is structured for clients who require investment or pension fund management only and is geared towards portfolios in the region of £250,000 - £500,000.

Annual Review Service

This is appropriate for clients who understand the need for monitoring and reviewing their investments but whose requirements are relatively straightforward.

Advisory and Implementation Service

If you do not see the need for an ongoing service, or if you are simply looking to fulfil a one-off requirement, we can accommodate this on an ad hoc basis, with no ongoing service agreement. Many of the clients who we primarily act for in respect of their mortgage transactions choose this type of arrangement, as it tends to work better for a transaction based relationship as opposed to long term financial planning. Usually, this type of business is transacted on a commission basis rather than fees. However, the options available will be discussed with you prior to any advice being given.
